The Public Organization “World of Law” has developed a Model Pilot Project on the implementation of the P.E.A.C.E. investigative interviewing model in Tajikistan.
This pilot project proposes the introduction of the P.E.A.C.E. model for conducting investigative interviews in Tajikistan in order to address existing challenges in current investigative processes and to enhance compliance with international human rights standards. The project will be implemented in selected pilot locations, with a focus on training police officers and investigators in non-coercive, evidence-based interviewing techniques.
Expected outcomes include improved quality of interviews, reduced reliance on confessions obtained through coercion, and strengthened public trust in law enforcement agencies.
