Dushanbe, 2–3 June 2021
A two-day information session on protection of human rights in the context of access to labor was held in Dushanbe. The event was organized under the project “Legal Support and Implementation of Mechanisms for Protecting Workers’ Rights in Employment,” supported by the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation – Tajikistan and organized by the PO “World of Law” in cooperation with the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On June 25, 2021, an information session on the protection of human rights in the context of access to employment was held at the Regional Trade Union Committee in the city of Bokhtar.
The event was conducted within the framework of the project “Legal Support and the Introduction of Mechanisms for the Protection of Workers’ Rights in the Employment Sector,” with the support of the Open Society Institute – Assistance Foundation Tajikistan. The event was organized by the Public Organization “World of Law” in cooperation with the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Training on Sexual Harassment
From July 8 to 9, 2021, a two-day training was held in Dushanbe on understanding sexual harassment as a form of gender discrimination and violence against women and girls, selecting protection strategies, and documenting violations of the rights of women and girls in this context.
This event was conducted within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Capacity of Civil Society in Tajikistan on Issues of Sexual Harassment,” with the support of the regional Spotlight Initiative Programme for Central Asia and Afghanistan.
From June 29 to 30, 2021, a two-day training was also held in Khujand on understanding sexual harassment as a form of gender discrimination and violence against women and girls, selecting protection strategies, and documenting violations of the rights of women and girls in this context.
