Trainings for prosecutors of the Republic of Tajikistan were held in Bokhtar, aimed at strengthening professional skills in investigating cases of torture and other forms of ill-treatment. The trainings, conducted on 15–16 January, are part of a broader capacity-building programme for the justice system.
The training was organized by the Public Organization “World of Law” in partnership with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of the project “Path to Justice: Strengthening Human Rights through Torture Prevention and Reform of the Penitentiary System, funded by the European Union.
The training programme focused on the practical aspects of prosecutorial work, including procedural response mechanisms, inter-agency cooperation, and the application of international and national legal standards in the investigation of torture-related cases.
