Three trainings were conducted for different stakeholder groups:

2) 5–6 December – Training for staff of the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan on “Application of International Occupational Safety Standards as a Guarantee for the Protection of Labor Rights.” Participants gained knowledge of international labor standards.

3) 7–8 December – Training for lawyers in Dushanbe on the fundamentals of labor relations (theory and practice), including mechanisms for protecting labor rights in court.

Experts prepared an analytical review of judicial practice in labor disputes.

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan conducted a review of court practice on labor disputes for the period 2019–2021 and the first half of 2022.

The main objective of the study was to identify procedural and regulatory shortcomings in the adjudication of labor disputes and to develop recommendations for improving both legislation and judicial practice.

The research was conducted using qualitative methods, including desk research and analysis of court decisions on labor disputes for 2019–2021 and the first half of 2022. A gender-sensitive and human rights-based approach was applied throughout all project activities.

This project was implemented with the financial support of the Open Society Institute – Assistance Foundation in Tajikistan.
